Jakub Zulczyk

Polish prose writer, screenwriter and journalist writing for several Polish magazines – Playboy, Elle, Wprost and Tygodnik Powszechny. He debuted in 2006 with the novel Zrób mi jakąś krzywdę (“Harm me Somehow”), in 2008 he published Radio Armageddon which in 2015 was adapted for the stage of the Wroclawski Teatr Współczesny. Żulczyk is also the author of the novels Instytut (2010), Zmorojewo and Świątynia (“The Temple”, 2011). For the most recent book Ślepnąc od świateł (“Blinded by the Lights”, 2014) he was nominated to Polityka Passports Award and Gwarancje Kultury Prize. He is one of the most popular writers of the young generations.
