Katarzyna Szymielewicz
Polish lawyer specialised in human rights and technology. She is a graduate of the University of Warsaw’s Law and Administration Department, and the University of London’s Development Studies program in the School of Oriental and African Studies. Katarzyna Szymielewicz is the Co-founder and President of the Panoptykon Foundation, that deals with human rights protection in the context of new technology development. She is also Vice-President of European Digital Rights, a coalition of over 30 organisations. Katarzyna serves as an advisor to the Icelandic Modern Media Initiative and to the Minister for Administration and Digitalisation in Poland. She is also a member of the International Commission of Jurists (Polish section) and the Internet Society.
