Pavel Elizarov

Russian democratic opposition activist. Until 2015 – Member of Federal Board of People’s Freedom Party (PARNAS). Several times have been arrested for participation in peaceful protests, twice (in 2005 and 2011) named a “prisoner of conscience” by Amnesty International. Left Russia facing imprisonment on the Bolotnaya square case, granted political asylum in Portugal. Currently residing in Lisbon and coordinating online opposition projects.
